Ballet Instruction

Tap Dance

Owner, Director
Leslie founded Valley Oak School of Dance in 1987 after studying ballet, jazz, and modern dance at Ballet Arts of Modesto and universities. With decades of teaching experience, she creates nurturing environment for dance education.
Petra Inglis
Instructor
A native of Oakdale, Petra began dancing at Valley Oak in 1989. After earning her BA in Dance from CSU Long Beach, she returned to teach tap, jazz, and ballet while maintaining strong studio connections.
Chelsea Day
Instructor
Chelsea trained at Valley Oak from age 3, later studying jazz and modern at Modesto Junior College. With 15 years teaching experience, she brings expertise in technique development and performance preparation.
Makayla Hauser

Makayla trained at VOSD before earning her BFA in Dance from San Jose State University. Currently dancing professionally, she shares her expertise in ballet, tap, and jazz instruction.
