Some routes may have 2 Drivers, so your pickup time may be earlier than usual, however your pickup day will remain as scheduled. Payments can be dropped off in the dropbox located on the fence, mailed in, made over the phone, made online or paid in person. If you have extra bags you need to get rid of, you may bring to the Douglas County Demo Landfill and will be charged accordingly.

Alex Rubbish was established 1969 in Alexandria originally by the Kluver family. Alex Rubbish & recycling (ARR) is owned/operated by "The Hometown Guys, " Shaynen Schmidt, Ricky Kluver (life-time employee of Alex Rubbish and nephew of the previous owners), and Shane Schmidt. All three owners were born and raised in the Alexandria area and strive to keep business local.

Offering a smaller footprint, our compact roll offs are designed to take up less space in our customers' driveway or yard.

They are also designed to protect the environment from contaminants, which may be present in the waste stream.
