With over 35 years of dance experience, Miss Kathleen established Ace Dance Academy in 1988. A Berks County native, she trained extensively in New Jersey and New York City before developing her unique teaching approach that combines technical rigor with compassionate mentorship.

What dance styles do you offer?
We offer ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, acrobatic dance, and adult fitness classes. Our curriculum includes both recreational and competitive pathways with progressive skill development.
What are the age requirements for classes?
We accept students starting at age 2 with our Pre-K program. Adult classes are available for ages 15+. Most classes are structured by both age and skill level to ensure appropriate technical development.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, we require specific dancewear and footwear for each class to ensure proper technique visibility and safety. Stage Dance Essentials provides all required attire with personalized fitting assistance.
Do you offer competitive dance teams?
We have competitive teams with invitation-only enrollment. The program includes intensive training in multiple styles, choreography development, and performance opportunities at regional competitions.

The studio is small, but neat. Prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is warm and friendly. This is a great, low-pressure dance studio. Recommend.

This review is only in regards to their preschool age class. I did not find the staff or the facility to be appropriately trained or equipped to teach or manage this age group. The class description online also did not match what was taught/class atmosphere described. With so many other programs for this age group available elsewhere, I would not recommend this studio for this age group. Giving two stars for convenience of location in ephrata and reasonable price.
