The Masonic Event Center was naturally built by Masons, who have been meeting in Freeport since way back in 1855, the same year Freeport was incorporated as a city. The site of the center was once a huge bramble where the local children picked blackberries to their heart's content, and it remained so for decades after the first settlers arrived.

Yes, but we only allow the piano to be used by special arrangement ahead of time, to ensure it stays tuned and is kept in excellent condition. There is an additional charge for its use. The Masonic Event Center includes a lift for guests who are wheelchair-equipped or have other mobility issues.
We and our guests must comply with city ordinances, and they require that events where alcohol is served be concluded by 1am on Monday through Thursday nights and by 2am on Friday & Saturday nights.We're glad to work with your caterer! However, please keep in mind that your caterer will need to be licensed by the Stephenson County Health Department and will need to be properly insured.
