Wet noses, belly rubs, wiggle butts, and slobbery kisses. THAT IS THE SECRET TO HAPPINESS! As you may have guessed, I'm that person who goes to an event and immediately gravitates towards the nearest pup to say hello! Arriving home and having my sweet pup, Freya, greet me with such excitement gives me great joy.
Freya is my baby girl, she is goofy smiles and laziness in the morning, busybody and lots of fetch breaks in the afternoon, and all snuggles at night. Her and I have a bond that means the world to me. Knowing how special that bond can be, I love working with dogs and their humans who are considered an important part of the family.

Canine Companions for Independence is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that provides expertly trained assistance dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities at no charge. Established in 1975, Canine Companions is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people.
