With an average of over 100 flights per day and closer to 200 during ski season, it is a busy airport for both commercial flights and general aviation.

Commonly referred to as the Vail Airport (KEGE), transportation from the Eagle Vail Airport to Vail or Beaver Creek generally takes less than 1 hour.
