Your Trusted Winery Experience in Lake Erie Wine Country
Since 1972, our family has dedicated itself to crafting exceptional wines in the Lake Erie AVA. Beginning with a single vineyard, we've expanded to three distinct winery locations, a brewery, a distillery, and multiple wine shops, offering a diverse portfolio recognized across the Northeast. Our commitment to quality remains rooted in the unique terroir of Lake Erie Wine Country, where generations of expertise shape every bottle. We combine traditional winemaking techniques with innovative approaches, ensuring each wine reflects our heritage and passion.

Our team, led by the Mazza family, prioritizes sustainability through locally sourced ingredients and partnerships with regional growers. Whether through curated tastings, seasonal events, or our award-winning wine club, we strive to create memorable experiences for every visitor. With over five decades of experience, we continue to innovate while honoring the simple mission that started it all: making exceptional wines.

My favorite winery in North East! Their flight deals are a great way to try their wines. I love their desert wine. We leave with at least 3 bottles every time we visit. The cheese they offer is great as well - I love the bacon Gouda. The staff is always patient & informative. The space is so unique!

Excellent service and helpful explanation of wines during wine tasting. Visited with my daughter and service was excellent for early visit by just the 2 of us. Loved the concord wine and was able to also purchase 2 bottles of grape juice for my underage daughter (Red & White). We really enjoyed this visit.

I love the Barebones Rose and Chamburcin from this winery. Two of my all time favorites. I also love the rustic stone wine cellar that the tasting and sales rooms are located in. I love the wine cellar so much that I took my engagement photos there.

My bestie holds a winery tour for her birthday every year, and South Shore Wine Co. is only one of two places that we have hit every time. It's a crowd favorite, because it's got a spacious tasting area in the cellar and the wines are excellent. My personal favorite is the Honey Mead, which I buy a bottle of every year.

Such a lovely venue and gracious hosts. You enter and walk down some stairs entering into a gorgeous spot that was a stone cavern in the 1860's and has been restored as of 2007. Our host gave us the rundown on its history and he was very enthusiastic about it. It's supposed to be one of only a few in this French style left in the United States. We walked towards the back to the tasting room, another visually appealing space. Our server was, again, gracious, in explaining more about the space and the wines. The upstairs space when purchased was sagging into the lower portion space
