Captain Austin Funk is a Florida Native with years of fishing experience and time on the water, rest assured you will be with a knowledgeable Captain who is licensed with a United States Coast Guard six-pack license & also insured. Jensen beach is what Austin calls home and year round there is excellent fishing in the area!
Captain Funk's biggest goal is to have a very safe, comfortable and action packed day for all of his guests and he strives to make the best day possible for every guest aboard. Funk charters is equipped with a 2002 Pathfinder 1900V with a Yamaha 115hp 4-stroke engine. Also equipped on the vessel is a 2019 Minn Kota iPilot trolling motor with 112lbs of thrust and a Power pole 10' blade shallow water anchor!

We can accommodate up to 4 anglers; this is the maximum number of anglers for all of our trips. The following rates are for 1/2, 3/4, and full-day trips, respectively. The following rates are for 2 guests, any additional is an additional $50 per person.
If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, have booked more than 2 weeks in advance, and inform the captain at least 7 days prior to the day of your scheduled trip, then a full refund will be processed promptly; additionally, .If you book less than 14 days before your scheduled trip, then the captain will communicate directly with you, letting you know how he'd like to proceed with your reservation and payment.

Tripletail are a fish you may have seen and not ever noticed! They inhabit inshore and offshore waters and are oriented to floating structures such as crab pots and even channel markers! Great table fare and hard fighters. Speckled Sea Trout are a great game fish to target in shallow water and the flats!
