Dr. Dobson is originally from the Kansas City, Kansas area as well as Lake Ozark, Missouri. However, he, his wife Krissy, and their kids have made Austin their home and are excited to be serving this community. Dr. Dobson graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology and went on to complete his Doctorate at the University of Houston College of Optometry.

One of the most exciting areas in eye care is related to contact lens technologies. New advancements in materials are now allowing us to comfortably wear contact lenses longer, sleep in select lens types, and successfully fit patients who have previously been unable to wear contacts. We routinely fit complex cases including high astigmatism, bifocals, keratoconus, dry eyes, allergy sufferers and high prescriptions.
