Dr. Peterson has had a passion for animals all her life. She has owned a veterinary clinic in the area for 17 years but wanted to provide a stress-free boarding option in the area and hence Sweet Paws. She, like many people, want to take their pets with them when they travel but knows that it is not always an option.
Growing up in Minnesota and with a love of nature, when the Sweet Paws property became available she could not resist wanting to put her thoughts to work. Being able to share the beautiful facility and acres of Sweet Paws Retreat with the happy dog & cat guests is very rewarding especially seeing their wagging tails and purring faces.
