Local resident, Alvin Berglund, started his own funeral home business in Cambridge in the 1920's and in 1947 relocated to the former home of local businessman D.O. Anderson. Berglund made many improvements to the turn-of-the-century home to give it the comfortable atmosphere still prevalent today. Alvin Berglund employed a young funeral director by the name of Gordon Carlson, who later purchased the business.

Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Born in Cambridge, MN and raised in Isanti. Jeff graduated from Cambridge High School in 1983 and from the University of Minnesota Mortuary Science Program in 1992.
Cremation Service Options

Cremation does not limit, but in fact increases the options available. The options for ceremonies prior to or following the cremation can include the selection of a casket or an urn, visitation with the body present (or memorial visitation where the urn is the focal point), a display of photographs, personal effects and awards, the location of the funeral ceremony and selection of music.
