Services
Appointments
Report
Bring your current insurance cards to your appointment. Payment of any co-pay or non-covered service is expected at the time of service. Medicare does not cover routine eye examinations or refractions (examination for glasses.) If your insurance plan requires a referral, please call your primary care provider a few days before your visit to arrange for the referral.
Age Related Macular Degeneration
Report
The macula is a small but vital part of the retina. The macula is responsible for your central vision. When you read, thread a needle, or perform any other activity that requires you to see fine details, you are using your macula. When the macula does not function as it should, objects appear distorted, blurry or may seem to disappear.
Cataract
Report
A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of your eye. For people who have cataracts, seeing through cloudy lenses is like looking through a fog. Most cataracts develop slowly and don't disturb your eyesight early on. At first, stronger lighting and a change in your eyeglasses may help.

As cataracts progress, the following symptoms can occur: decreased night vision and glare or halos from lights, fading of colors, and seeing double images with one eye.The lens is located behind the colored part of your eye and is a living and constantly growing structure.
Conjunctivitis
Report
The conjunctiva is a thin layer of skin that covers the inside of your eyelids and the white (sclera) of your eye. The conjunctiva produces mucus to lubricate the eye and protect it from bacteria and other irritants. Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva. Conjunctivitis has many different causes, including infections.
Diabetic Retinopathy
Report
If you have been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, your body has difficulty using and storing sugar. High blood sugar levels cause many health problems such as heart attacks, strokes and other blood vessel complications, including diabetic retinopathy. Prolonged periods of elevated blood sugar can also cause fluid to accumulate in the lens of the eye, the part of the eye that controls focusing.
