Our Legacy
Report
The story of professional eye care in the United States can nearly be told entirely through the bloodline of one family, the Clays. The Genesis of this dynasty can be traced back over 135 years. Dr. Allen Clay, patriarch of the family, began providing eye care in Louisiana in 1885. He then began traveling from farmhouse to farmhouse in rural Indian Territory along the Red River in 1902.

Dr. Jason K. Rhynes has roots that run deep in Durant and southern Oklahoma. A native of Durant, Dr. Rhynes is a 1994 graduate of Durant High School and is the son of Keith and Barbara Rhynes of Durant. With the addition of Dr. Rhynes to the staff of Clay-Rhynes Eye Clinic in 2002, our clinic was able to expand both services and availability to our patients.
Lenses and Frames

Highlight your features, play with color, and augment vision for different functions such as reading, driving and playing sports.
In Office Procedures
Report
SLT is used to help lower the intraocular pressure (IOP) in the treatment of glaucoma. Just as with drops, the goal is to lower the IOP to a safe enough level to prevent further progression or vision loss. It is most often used in conjunction with your current anti-glaucoma drops. Occasionally, we may try to use SLT instead of an eye drop.
