Twight's One-on-One Tutoring likes to observe your child's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style by doing a thorough assessment. I will ask you bring any of your child's recent school work, report card(s) and are ready to answer questions about your child's learning history and habits.
During the assessment, I will gauge your child's learning style, areas that need extra attention, and their interests to help customize a program that will help them catch up to a more proficient level.I will include parents in some of the assessment because you will likely participate in some portion of the program.

I believe that learning should be uplifting and inspiring. My aim is to nurture the self-confidence of the student, as I consider this to be key to successful academic performance. If a student experiences more self-belief, they envision more opportunities for their future academic career. I excel at teaching, reading and spelling skills using well-researched and proven programs.

During the school summer break, Twight's One-on-One Tutoring offers a daytime schedule for you to take advantage of. You can book prescheduled time slots for one, two, or three times per week. Alternatively, you can schedule sessions for just a few times during the summer to best fit in with your child's vacations or other summer activities.
