American Music Furniture Company was founded by musicians for musicians. We take the same care in building your furniture that you expect when buying a fine instrument. Our products are constructed with hand selected hard woods like American black walnut, cherry, sapele, oak and maple. We have access to an incredible array of straight grained as well as highly figured woods.
Our humidified cabinets are lined in your choice of aromatic cedar, Spanish cedar, or optional hardwoods like maple, walnut or cherry. We use safety glass in our cabinets including tempered glass, and on some pieces laminated glass. We offer Low E tempered glass as an option. All our products are hand made, and carefully finished for the kind of quality that used to be available from American furniture manufacturers more than 50 years ago.

When hanging your guitar the unique design of our guitar hanger accommodates varying shapes of headstocks by automatically rotating to find the best homeostatic position by use of gravity. Each hanger is designed and made from a single piece of solid wood and is embellished with metal standoffs, full-grain leather sleeves, and finished brass finials.

At American Music Furniture we pride ourselves on preserving and protecting your instruments. That is why we've tested the leather, the cork, and other parts of our cabinet to ensure that your guitar's finish stays intact. When you use one of our Guitar Habitat cabinets you can rest assured that your prized guitar will remain safe and protected.
Each of our cabinets comes equipped with our standard LED lighting and rheostat dimmer switch. Our Enhanced Lighting package provides additional LED lighting underneath the neck rest and below the door frame to further showcase the beauty of your guitars. Our cork-lined standard neck rest option provides the perfect place to safely rest and support your guitar necks.
