Air Venture Flight Center is an FAA-approved 141 Flight Training school for all your Flight Certificates. We have a modern and well-equipped facility which not only includes a Pilot Shop and relaxing lobby, but also a PSI Testing Center located on-site for your required FAA knowledge tests, as well as dispatch stations, briefing rooms, weather stations, and more!.
Our Process

To receive your private pilot rating in the specified time and at the specified cost, the following program must be completed as stated below. The following training quote is all under our 141 training program. Your private pilot check ride will be scheduled after 35 hours of flight time and you have demonstrated to your instructor that you meet the PTS for your private pilot rating.
How to Start

We'll walk you through the program step-by-step, from your discovery flight to your license. At our school you'll know exactly what your spending and why. Discovery Flights are a great way to try on your wings. You will fly with one of our experienced Certified Flight Instructors. Once you are safely airborne, the instructor will allow you to take the controls and fly the airplane yourself.

Air Venture Flight Center is proud to be a Cessna Pilot Center. Through our affiliation with Cessna, we are able to offer state of the art Computer Based Instruction for Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial and Multi-Engine Ratings. The Computer Based Instruction Kits include interactive CD-ROM that eliminate the need for a traditional Ground School.

Depending on how often you fly (2-3 times per week is recommended) which at this pace, you should complete the program in 4-6 months. This will vary depending on frequency of lessons, motivation and study habits. As a rough estimate, you can expect to spend $9000 training in a C-152 and roughly $11,000 training in a C-172.
