Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops foundational technique through structured training in classical positions and movements. Hip Hop Instruction

Tabatha
Director
With 44 years of dance experience and 26 years teaching, Tabatha established Spotlight Dance after directing pre-company groups at Dance Xtreme. She brings guest master choreographers for student development while maintaining a 32-year teaching career in KISD.
Heather
Company Instructor
A 27-year dance veteran, Heather earned a full scholarship to MCC and performed with the Black Eyed Peas at Super Bowl 45. She has choreographed award-winning routines for 10 years at Spotlight Dance and KISD schools.
Lyndsee
Company Instructor
Lyndsee brings 16 years of competitive dance experience and leadership as former captain of the 5-time National Champion MCC Dance Team. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies while teaching at Spotlight since 2014.
Kaitlyn Kit-Kat
Company Instructor
With 17 years dance experience and 15 years at Spotlight, Kaitlyn has trained under industry professionals and served as Senior Lieutenant of the National Champion Killeen Kangarettes. She specializes in musical theater and acro instruction.
Jackie
Dance Educator
A certified Dance Educator of America member since 2019, Jackie has taught nationwide due to her military background. She brings diverse training in 12 dance styles and extensive competition choreography awards to Spotlight's faculty.

As a dancer at this studio for 4 years , it was a great experience ! Loved my teachers and the director. My teammates and other dances made it feel like a family. They treat everyone with respect and always take care of you. I truly recommend SDC.

I dont know where to start. In my opinion this studio is HIGHLY focused on competition. I felt very uncomfortable and judged and almost left out since my daughter wasnt company. Sitting in the lobby with other moms, and the conversation that I listened to, made me feel like a bad dance mom, and mom in general. We made the switch to another studio after the owner forced a recital during a pandemic. The original venue stated that the studio couldnt have the recital. Like 3 weeks before recital. A venue was found last minute and was not conducive to dancers. My daughter FELL, to the floor

My daughter absolutely loves Spotlight. The teachers are all amazing. Hands down the best studio my daughter has ever attended. I would recommend Spotlight to anyone looking for a dance studio.

My daughter has danced here for four years since she was 3. Teachers are consistent and professional. They all care about the dancers and push them to do technique correctly. My daughter did recreational dance for 2 years and now 2years company. After school practice keeps her off the street, shes a A Honor Roll student, her playtime is on the weekends only. Come try a class for free. Summer class starts 4 June.
