McVantage Packaging brings over four generations of wood industry knowledge to the wooden packaging space. We specialize in the manufacture, repair, and recycling of wooden pallets and crates, and service the Central-Southeastern U.S. from our plants in Tuscumbia, AL and Nashville, TN.
Our Tuscumbia operation includes a scragg mill and various production stations for the manufacture and reprocessing of our lumber products and packaging product components.Both the Nashville and Tuscumbia operations are then able to assemble those products into our pallets, crates, and other products.

Our products are built with new or recycled hardwood and/or softwood depending on your requirements, and they are designed with the PDS system to guarantee your material handling requirements are met.

The International Pallet Protection Committee (IPPC) is an organization that sets out guidelines for wooden shipping containers world wide. The IPPC's International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM 15) are the guidelines for preventing the spread of insects and disease. It calls for wood that is more than 6mm in thickness be debarked and heat-treated to a temperature not less than 133 degrees (56 Celsius) for at least 30 minutes.

For over a decade McVantage Packaging has been a no waste company meaning that 100% of all wood goes into a product or is recycled. Initially the waste products were either used for electricity or other energy products in our own power and steam facilities or sold to outside companies for use in products such as particle board and OSB.
