The Mount Mitchell Golf Club has been rated four and a half stars (out of five) by Golf Digest Magazine. It is a player friendly par 72, with no blind shots and scenery that makes it hard to keep your mind on golf. It features bent grass tees, greens and fairways. It is in the Toe River valley and is virtually flat.

From early April to mid November our climate is just about ideal. Normal summertime morning temperatures range between 55 and 60 degrees. Daytime temperatures hover around 80. Our spring and fall weather requires a sweater until mid morning. This mild climate produces blooming wild flowers from March to November.
