Founded in 1999, The College Blueprint, LLC, has grown into a vibrant college counseling practice with counselors in Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties of California.
Through the use of technology we are able to work with students all over the United States, including students in such diverse locations as Idaho, Nebraska, Oregon, Arizona, Texas and Massachusetts. Depending on their needs and desires, our students have been admitted to many different types of colleges, including the Ivies, liberal arts colleges, STEM oriented colleges, research universities, military academies, and specialty colleges.

Jan Kerchner has been an independent educational consultant in southern California for over 20 years. In founding The College Blueprint Jan had a vision and mission to assist students and their parents with preparing for college and finding the right fit for each student along that student's personalized college path.

We work individually with students to identify potential careers and majors, plan internships and summer experiences, research colleges and finalize a personalized list of colleges and universities which are the right match for each student. Ultimately we create a personal timeline and guide students through the completion of the college application and essay writing process.

Your family is invited to join a supportive group of professionals who can give you the tools necessary to score well on the SAT. 24 hours of private instruction. We have a fluid program that caters to the needs of the student, rather than following a rigid structure.
