I was born and raised in Quincy, went to Quincy Vo-Tech, graduated with honors from the automotive division. When I was about 10 years old, I used to help my grandfather repair his vehicles. He showed me the correct way to approach a problem, find and repair the cause, not just the effect. Growing up, my parents always taught me to treat others the way you want to be treated, and I have always lived by that rule.
Here is some of my working background. In 1978 I began working at B&B Auto Repair in Weymouth, within two years I was lead mechanic, and responsible for 2 other techs. This was a nice family owned business and I stayed with them for 5 years. I decided to try switching to the parts side of the industry, going to work for Dynamite Auto Parts in Quincy in 1983.
