I called today for the first time to a temp agency in high hopes. I explained on the phone my past work experience as a hairdresser for 11 years, but that I was looking to change careers and before I could continue the representative cut me off and goes... We cant help you. She continued to say that they only use applicants who have relevant work experience and that I didnt qualify. That my resume would just sit and they wouldnt refer me to anyone. I asked to make an appointment anyway and see if I was available for any jobs. She told me it was a waste of time and ended the call
