S&R Event Rental was founded by brothers Scott & Rodney Ouellette in 1991. In 2012 S&R purchased ACE Canvas and expanded our company. With a combined total of 42 years of experience, S&R Event Rental provides top-of-the-line service and customer satisfaction.
S&R provides services for a variety of events such as Arts, Beats & Eats, Comerica Tiger Fan Fair, Detroit River Regatta Gold Cup Races as well as being the primary contractor for DDP Events (Downtown Detroit Partners, Parks & Public Spaces) which includes: Beacon Park, Campus Martius, Cadillac Square, Capitol Park, Grand Circus Park, and Spirit Plaza.

Our Frame Tents are canopy supported by an aluminum frame that is self-supporting (also called Free Standing Tents). Another benefit to a frame-style tent is that there are no supporting center poles inside the tent allowing for more use of space and no rope lines so this style tent can be set up in a smaller area.
Stakedown Tents
Report
Our Stakedown Tents are supported by poles and rope lines attached to stakes which are fastened into the grass, gravel, or asphalt. We can not use stake down tents on concrete. Concrete installations require a Frame Tent. Please note that with stake-down tents, the rope lines come out an additional 6' on all sides, making the required area for the tent larger than the tent itself.
