The way we treat our companion animals has changed drastically in the past thirty years. A Precious Pet Resort was built on the philosophy of those changing attitudes. We feel that the unconditional love your pet gives you everyday should be returned when you have to go away. Based on dog psychology we built our resort from the ground up to provide what we feel is the best, stress-free care possible.
Boarding

Depending on our grooming schedule, grooming appointments, baths and nail trims may be scheduled during your pet's stay. We reserve the right to refuse to keep what we deem too many dogs in the family suite at one time based on size and temperment. Overcrowding can cause serious fights, even with 'family' members.

Groom dogs get the opportunity to play with other dogs before we put them on the table, helping to burn off excess energy and making their grooming session less stressful. The fact that we are not rushed also means that your pet can take breaks during the grooming session. It is suggested that dogs get their nails trimmed every four to six weeks.

It is important to us to do our part to ensure that the future is greener and cleaner for both people and our pets. Every little bit counts and if we all contributed a little, the difference would be a lot! You might not be suprised to hear that caring for all of the animals produces a LOT of laundry!
Faq

You need updated proof of Rabies, Bordatella, and DHLPP. We can not take dog tags as proof of rabies, as tags can be removed, changed from dog to dog or stolen. We encourage you to bring anything you feel would make your dog more comfortable. Bedding from home brings familiarity, and 'home' smells, some dogs may chew their beds, even if they have never done so before.
