In order to assure that you have a safe and secure visit, the Town of Ocean Isle Beach wishes to inform you of several important Town ordinances. Violation of Town Ordinances imposes a $25.00 fine. All dogs must be leashed or fenced at all times. NO DOGS allowed on beach strand from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Fishing

You must have a North Carolina fishing license to fish anywhere else in Ocean Isle Beach and surrounding areas. Island Tackle (910-579-6116) sells licenses and can get you prepared for your fishing adventure. Hurricane Fleet is the fishing company of choice for Sunset Properties and guests. The staff is very dependable and know the surrounding coastal waters really well - after all, they've been doing this for over 25 years.

Enjoy free concerts at both islands this summer! Ocean Isle Beach Summer Market is held every Tuesday 9am-1pm at 11 East Second Street. The OIB close-out summer special event market is scheduled on Saturday, Sept 4th from 10am to 3pm. The OIB Holiday Market is a 1 day only event! Pictures with Santa will be made available by Pawsability for families, children and your family pets.

Ocean Isle Beach is located in Southeastern North Carolina. The island is about 5 miles off of U.S. 17 at Highway 905. Take Ocean Isle Beach Drive from US 17 about 4 miles to the traffic light to the entrance of the town. Our office will be another quarter mile on the right (on the mainland just before the bridge).
