Elizabeth purchased land in Fern Forest on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2009 and began her vision to create a healing haven in the rainforest with the powerful energy of a live volcanic island. In 2010, Elizabeth founded and ran Luminescence Healing Haven in the Santa Cruz mountains developing and fine tuning her skills in the healing arts.
By 2016, the space in Fern Forest was complete with a guest cottage and yoga studio at which time, Yoga Yurt Hawaii was formally open, and Elizabeth moved to the Big Island full time. One day, one of Elizabeth's yoga students offered to gift her a couple goats, and the adventure of goat farming began.
