Acne
Report
Breakouts may occur from time to time during any stage of life. Persistent breakouts, or acne, may seem to clear before the next flare up begins. Acne is a skin condition in which inflammation occurs subsequent to clogged pores. Pores clog as oil and sebum, a waxy substance, accumulate with dead skin cells within these tiny holes.
Dandruff
Report
Most people do not associate dandruff with a need to visit the dermatologist. Millions of people experience dandruff, a condition in which the skin on the scalp becomes dry and flaky. Dandruff may not pose a risk to your health, but it can certainly be an embarrassing and difficult to overcome problem.
Hair Loss
Report
A small amount of hair loss, from 40 to 100 hairs a day, is perfectly normal. Your hair follicles cycle through various stages, ideally growing new hairs at the same rate as they are shed. At any given time, about ten percent of follicles in a healthy scalp will be resting and shedding hair. The remainder of the follicles is in the active growth phase, creating, or lengthening hairs.
Moles
Report
There are several different varieties of moles, each classified by its unique characteristics and location in the skin. Most people have one or more moles, with one in 100 babies having moles at birth. By the time we reach our thirties and forties, we may have several dozen moles across our body. These growths may be various colors, but should be only one color within a single growth.
