We are here to help you with your skin and skin care questions. If there is anything you want to know about or change on your skin, we hope you feel comfortable enough to mention it to us. All the staff at KDA have been personally trained by Dr. Marla Klein. Jamie Kersenbrock Barbara, FNP-BC is a nurse practitioner.
Meet Dr. Klein

Marla Klein MD is a physician who is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Beyond her internal medicine training, she completed three additional years of intensive training in an accredited residency program focused only upon the skin.

We request that patients arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment in case there is any paperwork that requires attention. If a patient arrives more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, it is possible they may be asked to be rescheduled. We do this as a courtesy to the other patients, as an effort to keep the providers running on time.

Acne typically appears on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders, which are the areas of your skin with the largest number of oil glands. Acne can be whiteheads, blackheads, inflammatory papules (pimples), and painful cysts. If you are an Accutane (Isotretinoin) patient, we make it as convenient as we can to comply with the FDA's IPLEDGE program.
