In the fifth grade, I was moved to tears as I watched my school choir perform (and I immediately signed up to join them). My father was my guitar teacher and offered me his old guitar one lonely summer as I was moving from childhood to being a teenager. While I ended up studying classical guitar for 4 years in college, just like many of you, I initially started learning guitar on my own.

Your first session with Curtis is a 45-minute consultation and it's completely free. This consultation can be conducted over the phone or in-person at our office. Curtis will start by briefly sharing more about our history, then ask you some questions so you can get crystal clear about where your are and where you want to be.

We've got a ton to do to prepare for our concert! Preparing for live performance takes everything you've got. We're practicing late at night, double checking notes and standing in front of the mirror to practice our rock-and-roll stance. There never seems to be enough time. Curtis Kamiya Music has just made this a little easier for all of you.
