The spring of 2011, my sons and I decided to build a picnic table for a family event. We needed something bigger and better built than what was on the market at the lumber stores. The weekend after was the 100 mile yard sale event, we had a yard sale going and used the picnic table to have a place to sit at our yard sale.
Amy said, "You might as well put a for sale sign on it and see if we get any buyers." Yeah, you guessed it, we did! So we built a few for individuals, took a few around to the local businesses for their outside seating, and put an ad in the local newspaper and on Craigslist. At this point, we had a hobby.

How I do the adjustment is based on what material is needed for your order and how much the material increased.
