As Dr. Langdon discusses in his monthly seminars on cosmetic surgery, volume loss is one of the major signs of aging in the face. Volume loss results mostly from diminished fat and can be most evident in the eyelids and eyebrow area. The only natural and everlasting method of restoring volume to the peri-orbital area (around the eyes) is to place fat in the areas where it has been lost.
