We absolutely love this winery! Chatauqua has a good selection of wines at a great price. Muscadine grapes make a great wine. The Beach Berry and Chocolate Port are delicious. We recommend joining the wine club where you can get a quarterly selection for a good price.

This was a very nice experience. I must say that my experience at the front was not the best; however, the wine tasting experience was very pleasant. I don't want to go into too much detail, but I just did not like the way I was made to feel. It wasn't any one thing in particular, but ... I'm not sure. Maybe it was me.
Anyway, the wines themselves were very good, and it was a good experience with the tasting. The pricing was competitive (but be prepared to pay a high premium for anything besides the wine itself).

Awesome place. Free wine tasting! The African American male that conducted the tasting was a very nice man and very knowledgeable he even provided juice to the kids. Very nice man. Kind of rude girl at the front counter. I asked if she could help me pick the bottles that I wanted to purchase. She referred me to the shelf with all the many wine bottles saying they are all over there. After a little conversation she help box the bottles I was purchasing from her employer. Nice place definitely a must stop.

Wonderful place for learning about wines. You can do wine tastings, the staff is very knowledgeable about the wines and will point you in the right direction for what you are looking for. Love when they have the wine festival
