In 2013, Elite Recycling and Disposal LLC was created to bring curbside single-stream recycling and consistent trash service to Pagosa Country. We wanted to do something good for this community and knew if we could make recycling easy and affordable more people would do it. We studied recycle programs in Durango, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Tulsa and modeled our program after those.
But we are not going to rest on our laurels. Like most small companies we started with 1 truck, but we have some big plans for the future. Now, in 2021, we have 7 trucks. We offer commercial container service along with small 11 and 13 Yard construction rolloffs. We strive to be flexible with our services to suit the needs of our varied customers and we work with our seasonal residents to provide service for just the time they spend in Pagosa.

We start our residential routes at 8 am. We encourage you to avoid setting your cart out for pick up the night before which will create problems with bears and other wildlife. No you do not have to sort. Our program is a single stream or co-mingled program so everything goes into the cart mixed together.
