Prime Learning Center offers a wide variety of individual tutoring and small-group courses. Our tutors work with students from elementary school to graduate school on every major academic subject and standardized test, as well as college applications. We have three locations available in Fairfax, Vienna and McLean.

Prime Learning Center is open Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm. The Fairfax branch is located in the back of Woodson Square complex in the building closest to the corner of Main Street (Rt.236) at the corner of Main Street and Whitacre Rd., on the same side of Main Street as W.T. Woodson High School.
SAT Prep Course
Report
PLC will conform to state and FCPS policy regarding in-person classes. If FCPS schools shut down and transition to remote learning, then PLC will follow suit and change all in-person classes to live-online instruction. We are committed to offering our students the same quality of education while preserving the community's health and safety.
College Application & Essay

Prime Learning Center's tutors can assist your student through each step of college admissions, from choosing schools to organizing a personal timeline to demonstrating skills and experiences on application forms. We have particular expertise in helping students with the difficult task of formulating and writing college essays and the Common Application, the application used by most schools today.
TJ Prep Course

We are currently planning to hold In-Person One-on-One Tutoring. We are strictly limiting the class sizes to one at Fairfax and McLean to allow for social distancing in the largest classrooms. We are monitoring the situation closely and will make adjustments if needed. TJHSST has announced a new admissions policy for the class of 2025 (2020/21 Freshman Round).
ACT Prep Course
Report
Live Online One-on-One classes allow for more personalized instruction for your student's needs. These classes are ideal for students who prefer private tutoring or whose schedules are too complicated for standard classes. Flexible Approach: PLC tutors realize that not every student learns the same way.
