Discovery Kids Camp

Each of the three rooms is a peaceful soothing space for up to four infants with one nurturing caretaker. The infants are stimulated by music, touch, singing, visuals, and movement. The staff is experienced with both breast-fed and formula-fed bottle feedings. INFANTS (6 weeks to 1 year): Each infant's day include cuddling, exercising, music and songs, exersaucers, baby swings, and stimulating toys.

PRE-SCHOOL (2-3 years): The emphasis at the pre-school stage is to encourage personal responsibility and autonomy balanced with effective communication with peers. Our children can understand the consequences for choices they make. It's Discovery Day Care's goal to communicate with them about these choices to prepare them for a structured classroom atmosphere.

Our Kindergarten Enrichment Class offers an Additional 2-1/2 Hours of Learning per Day to children in half day Kindergarten Programs in Morrisville and Pennsbury School Districts. At Discovery we communicate with the Public School Kindergarten Teacher to understand the curriculum they are teaching.

Children and Staff of Discovery Day Care of Morrisville present the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a check for their Carnival Graduation Fundraiser with recipient Javien. The Graduating Pre-K Class of Discovery combines their Graduation efforts with a Fundraiser for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Each time, we have sponsored a local child, making the experience personal to all the children involved.

My son was having trouble with letter recognition based on feedback his Kindergarten teacher provided. I shared this information with Discovery and they helped Daniel master the concept during the Kindergarten Enrichment program. Daniel started out at Discovery attending our Summer Camp in 2013. He is now a Student in our Kindergarten Enrichment Class and is a Fun part of our Before & After-School Program.
