Bell Murray Aviation is dedicated to exploring training opportunities in all areas of aerospace. This includes commercial and military aviation, drones, and commercial space operations. Southwest Airlines: Destination 225° Southwest Airlines has selected BMA Aviation as a. BMA (Bell Murray Aerospace, Inc.) was founded by Ray Bell and Scott Murray in 2012.

BMA operates according to a FAA Part 142 Certificate. This certificate entitles BMA to conduct aircraft type rating and recurrent instruction and certification. BMA Aviation as part of Bell Murray Aerospace is aggressively expanding operations to accommodate the rising needs of our partners and customers.

ATP-CTP Training

The ATP-CTP (Airline Transport Pilot/Certified Training Program) course is required for anyone seeking an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine privileges. The Training program is required prior to taking the ATP knowledge test.

The program serves as a prerequisite for the multi-engine ATP written exam which covers aerodynamics, automation, adverse weather conditions, air carrier operations, transport airplane performance, professionalism, leadership and development.
Destination 225 – Military

Southwest Airlines has selected BMA Aviation as a partner to provide training for military pilots for the Destination 225 program. This includes training for fixed-wing as well as rotor-wing. The Destination 225° Military pathway is designed to bridge the gap between military flight experience and the start of your civilian flying career.
Prerequisites

Meet the military experience requirements under Sec. 61.73 to qualify for a commercial pilot certificate, and an instrument rating if the person is a rated military pilot or former rated military pilot of an Armed Force of the United States. Hold a type rating in a turbojet airplane of the same class of airplane, and that type rating may not contain a supervised operating experience limitation;.
Non U.S. Students

OVERVIEW - TSA has issued Title 49 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations Part 1552 that prohibits a flight school from providing flight training in an aircraft or aircraft simulator to non US Citizens unless the flight school or the candidate submits certain information to TSA. TSA will then determine that the candidate is not a threat to aviation or national security.
