While being a hairstylist is viewed as being focused on beauty, I have found that it is about being a "safe place" for anyone who sits in my chair. It's about sharing the big life moments and being a part of that journey. When I first started behind the chair, I thought my purpose was to "just do hair", but over time I have realized that I am in the business of hair and people, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
