Established in 1888, Kebo Valley Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Maine, and the eighth oldest golf club in the United States. Kebo has tested the skills of many of the country's finest players, most influential politicians, and leaders of industry. Kebo includes 18 spectacular and well-maintained golf holes, each hole will challenge and excited players of any level.
President Howard Taft, U.S. Open Champion Scott Simpson, and PGA legend Billy Casper have hit drives and sank putts on Kebo Valley's hallowed grounds. In 1911, President Taft cards a 27 on what was then the "Elbow" hole, which is today's 17th. This hole is commonly referred to as the "Taft" hole. You will play the same holes that one of the greatest golfers of all time played, the one and only Sir Walter Hagen.

On this slight dogleg left par 4, a bunker in the center of the fairway acts as a good aiming point. Your approach shot is to a green that slopes from left to right and slightly away from you. A great starting hole chance for a "birdie" but watch out for that double. From the elevated tee, this par 4 plays straight away.

Rich in tradition, endless in surprises, incapable of being mastered, once played, never loses its attraction. Kebo is a source of pride for Bar Harbor, Maine.

All adult members have a Food & Beverage minimum. We use a gift card system, which is referred to as "Kebo Bucks". Once you have joined our ACH monthly payment program, you may pick up your "Kebo Bucks" card in the Links Pub at the bar. If your card is not there, ask our staff when your card will be available.
Pro Shop

The Pro Shop at Kebo Valley Golf Club carries a wide variety of items. Balls, tees, cutting edge irons and drivers from the sport's leading manufacturers are all in stock and on display. We also have hats, gloves, shoes, jackets, rain gear, umbrellas and most everything else you can think of. Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to browse through the shop.
