OC Wills & Trust Attorneys
Managing Partner Brian Chew earned his law degree from the University of Southern California School of Law, and has over 25 years of estate planning experience. Mr. Chew founded OC Wills and Trust Attorneys on the principle of providing our clients with professional legal services while at the same time providing personal service not commonly associated with a law firm.

We view the creation of an estate plan as the start of a long term relationship with our clients and not just another legal transaction. By providing exceptional service and staying in touch with our clients through the years, our goal is to make sure your family and business are protected now and for many years to come.

Estate Planning
Report
Most people do not want to think about what will happen if they become incapacitated or pass away. How will your family deal with your incapacity or death? Who will make decisions on your behalf? How will your assets be protected? All of these questions can be addressed by establishing a comprehensive estate plan.

Report
You've worked hard your whole life to provide for your family and make your loved ones more secure. Without advanced estate planning strategies, much of the significant assets you have accumulated may end up with the IRS and state taxing authorities.

Elder Law/Medi-Cal Planning
Report
While the golden years are supposed to be filled with the joys of retirement, grandchildren and travel, they are seldom enjoyed without various other complexities that individuals encounter as they age including deteriorating health, financial concerns, and family disputes. To meet these challenges, a unique area of law - elder law has taken on greater value to millions of aging Americans and their caregivers.
Avoid Medi-Cal Estate Claim Against Your Estate
Report
If you or your parents are in a nursing home or assisted living facility, there is a good chance they are receiving benefits though the state's Medi-Cal program. Medi-Cal insurance takes over for Medicare for qualified seniors who are in a facility for more than 60 days. To qualify for Medi-Cal you must have minimal cash or cash equivalents at the end of each month.
Securing Your Children’s Future
Report
Many parents put off estate planning because they do not think they have substantial assets to protect. This outlook is common among young adults who think they have plenty of time to accumulate wealth and plan for it at a later date. However, in failing to create a proper estate plan, many parents cannot adequately protect their children.
