Welcome to the White Hall Arts Academy, where students of all ages and abilities come together in arts education. Our team of professional instructors are here to nurture your aspirations and inspire you to reach you goals, whether the style is classical, jazz, pop or rock. We look forward to guiding you along your journey!

Are you new to study, or not sure which program is right for you or your child? Contact us to learn more and discuss your interests. Private lesson are available for adults and children and may be started at any time throughout the year. Seasonal group and master classes are also available. After one session I noticed improvement!

Founder of the White Hall Arts Academy, Tanisha Hall is a graduate of Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) with an instrumental focus on voice. Tanisha has been teaching private lessons since 2002. Having enjoyed a 15 year career in the music industry before starting WHAA, Tanisha offers a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Do you want to hone you songwriting skills? Register for the White Hall Arts Academy's Songwriter Series. This weekly series meets on Zoom every Thursday at 6pm PST / 9pm EST. Led by White Hall Arts Academy founder and music industry veteran Tanisha Hall and special guests from all aspects of the music industry, the class teaches basic songwriting concepts and techniques, as well as music business insight and strategies.

The White Hall Arts Academy (WHAA) is a performing and visual arts education facility in South Los Angeles. Founded in 2011, by Berklee College of Music alumna Tanisha Hall, the White Hall Arts Academy offers a blend of classical and contemporary arts training to children and adults. South LA, in the U.S.'s second largest city and home to a multicultural mix of 75,000 middle and lower income residents, is an arts desert.
