At Mach 5, over a dozen flight instructors pull from their unique career experiences to make sure that students get the absolute most out of training. When you train with Mach 5, you're flying with experienced, passionate aviators. Among them are fighter pilots, airline captains, corporate pilots, and career instructors.

Mach 5 Aviation opened its doors at the Auburn Municipal Airport in 2008 and founded the business on the message posted at the entrance: "SAFETY, INTEGRITY, SERVICE BEFORE SELF, AND EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO." This group is committed to quality flight training and maintenance excellence. Our students range from Private Pilot, Instrument, and Commercial, to Certified Flight Instructors.
Pilot Services
Report
You must complete a flight review every 24 calendar months in order to act as a Pilot in Command (PIC). A calendar month means that the endorsement runs to the end of the 24th month. You cannot fail a flight review. Your instructor simply logs the time as flight instruction. An IPC is a comprehensive evaluation that follows the Practical Test Standards (PTS) for the Instrument rating.

Our instructors are ready and willing to give you an unforgettable introductory tour. Popular attractions include the Forrest Hill Bridge, Folsom Lake, Downtown Auburn, Lake Clementine and Downtown Sacramento.
