
Dr. Pingel is a native of Nebraska and was raised in Iowa. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Iowa State University, Dr. Pingel matriculated to the Illinois College of Optometry where he completed both his doctorate and B.S.V.S. in 2000.
He then completed a post-doctorate internship at the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine at the University of Chicago, where he received extensive training in ocular disease and emergency eye care.Since 2003, he has been in private practice in the Kansas City area with emphasis on the treatment of chronic ocular disease, pediatrics, and advanced contact lens fitting.
