Mental illness is shockingly common, affecting almost every American family - directly or indirectly. It can strike someone of any background. It can strike at any stage of life - from childhood to old age. No community is unaffected, no school or workplace untouched. Mental illness in America is more common than cancer, diabetes, or even heart disease.
School-Based Mental Health Program
Report
Our school-based mental health program was born out of the desire to provide access. School-based programs alleviate the strain on caregivers to arrange transportation to and from appointments - while serving kids in an environment they know and are familiar with. Mental health services are available on-site at selected schools in the Battle Ground, Evergreen, La Center and Vancouver School Districts.
