Welcome to Days of Wonder Child Care Program where every day holds a wonderful new adventure! Days of Wonder is a non-profit child care program licensed by New York State and Westchester County. For over 45 years we have nurtured and loved thousands of children in the tri-state area. Days of Wonder Child Care Program operated by the Hudson Valley Day Care Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

At Days of Wonder, we tailor our classrooms to meet the needs of active, curious children. Our classrooms are equipped with developmentally appropriate learning centers, including kitchen areas, block areas and quiet areas. Our outdoor facilites provide a space for children to run, jump and explore their large motor skills.

The toddlers are coming! On mild days, they can be spotted about town. These frequent walks to the fire house or post office help the young ones develop a sense of community. Some days, we head for the library for story adventures. Other days, we take the playground. As the tots ride, run, dig, and climb, they learn crucial lessons-how to share, how to take turns, and how to get along.

What does Namaste mean? According to ancient Sanskrit, it is an everyday salutation that means, "The Spirit in me salutes the Spirit in you." But when the children at Days of Wonder say, "Namaste, " they are reinforcing the message that they are each strong, confident beings. We have yoga once a week once a week, and even the very young ones are on the mats for stretching, downward-dog fun, and breathing exercises.
