After serving in World War II, Myron Curtis and his wife Betty moved to Portland, Oregon. They purchased a 16 foot Pierce house trailer to live in. In 1947 they bought property on the south side of Powell Boulevard at SE 102nd and began building a small home. They sold their first trailer and bought a larger one to live in.

Curtis Trailers is committed to providing the best in RV repair and service. The commitment begins with ongoing factory training of our RVIA / RVDA certified technicians and service advisers. From factory recommended scheduled service to warranty repairs to collision or accident repairs, no job is too large or too small - we can do it all.

Parts and accessories availability is vital to RV owners, and at Curtis Trailers we take pride in having one of the largest selection of RV parts and accessories in the Portland, Beaverton and Vancouver WA area. We have two locations with over 6,000 square feet of display space and we're open 7 days a week for your shopping convenience.

The RV travel trailer is towed with a ball mount and a hitch receiver that's located below the rear bumper of the towing vehicle. In most cases a weight distributing hitchsystem is also employed to reduce the effects of the trailer's hitch weight on the suspension of the towing vehicle. Various sway control devices are also often used to enhance towing characteristics.
