The Shaolin Kung fu Institute has been teaching the traditional Northern Dragon Kung fu (Lung Jop Pai) and Southern dragon (Loong Ying Mor Kiu), in the Hightstown/East Windsor area since 1972. We emphasize teaching the philosophy and customs of the traditional Chinese martial arts as well as the unique techniques of this Kung fu style.
Traditional training, to us, means directly learned skills passed down from teacher to student, not made-up or mixed together styles, or video-trained instructors. The institute is currently accepting serious students who are interested in dedicating themselves to learning traditional Chinese Martial Arts of the Shaolin Kung fu lineage.

Standard Program: The standard program is our basic training program and offers students two 45 min classes each week, the minimum necessary to see true progress in the art. The grading cycle for the Standard Program is, at a minimum, 4 months for rank promotion. Rank promotion exams and courses are not included in the tuition fee for the Standard Program.

The Shen Long Tong Shaolin Kung fu Institute headquarters in Hightstown, NJ, provides classes with benefits beyond what many martial arts schools offer. Our small classes provide personal attention for all students. Our staff is trained to recognize that all students are different.
We observe all students for their strengths and difficulties, and then take the time to help students through areas which are difficult for them, while also encouraging them to excel where they are skilled.We believe that all students can achieve a high ranking if they are serious minded and motivated.

The Shaolin Kung fu Institute was established in 1972. The Instructional Staff Training Program was formed in 1972 by the Institute; its main purpose is maintaining the traditional techniques of the style of Lung Jop Pai Kung fu, as taught by our Chief Instructor, Shifu Rex W. McCoy PhD. All Instructional Staff members are personally taught by Shifu McCoy.

The Shaolin Kung fu institute Shen Long Tong was formed in 1972 as the main head quarters for training qualified students in the Instructional Staff Training Program Lan Long Hui (see Staff). Those who pass this program have completed all 4 sections and rank requirements of the Lung Jop Pai style Kung fu, and have been active members in the Instructional Staff Training Program for 10 years or more.
Pennington, NJ Campus

The South Jersey, NJ, campus was formed in 2011 and is operated by Shifu Darren. Shi Darren trained at the Shaolin Kung fu Institute main headquarters in Hightstown NJ since 2004 and received his instruction under the Chief Instructor, Shifu Rex W. McCoy. Later in 2004, Shifu Darren was accepted into the Instructional Staff Training Program (ISTP) and continues his instruction till this day.
