We prepare our young women for jobs that may not currently exist, using technology that is still being invented, to solve problems that have yet to be discovered. We can do this all by creating authentic, meaningful, and relevant learning experiences rooted in our Catholic upbringing. My daughter is absolutely loving her new high school!
The closeness, camaraderie and school spirit is abundant across the classes, I would very much recommend this high school for your daughter! Truly a college prep program. The modular system encourages the girls to be proactive about interacting with teachers and other students. The strong faith-filled community is a great!

Incarnate Word High School was founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1881. The school had its beginning as a co-ed grade school located at the corner of Crosby and Willow St. In 1900, the Sisters moved to their new Motherhouse on grounds which they had purchased from Col. Brackenridge.

Incarnate Word High School is fortunate to have dedicated instructors to educate the leaders of the future. Incarnate Word High School is proud to offer a variety of scholarships to highly qualified incoming students for their academic achievements and commitment to their future school community. We ask families to complete the FACTS Grant and Aid application through Hope for the Future so that our families are considered for Hope for the Future funds as well.
