Literally right after the birth of my 2nd child because, well, why not add to the chaos right?! The blog was initially created as a way to share my knowledge of makeup so that future clients could go to it and ultimately feel comfortable booking me. Honestly, in the beginning, my blogging was pretty terrible as I look back at original posts!

That's when we can go natural, bold, dramatic, or soft and subtle -it's the time to play around until we get it just right.

Production makeup can include anything from commerical, film, to print. Never underestimate the power of a makeup artists job to keep your subjects for any of these projects looking appropriate for the story being told. I love to glam up a model for a magazine, fix a teens acne prone skin for a commercial, or do a little male grooming for a music video.

Sometimes we get stuck in a makeup RUT where we just do the same ole thing everyday. There's nothing I enjoy more than working one on one with my clients to help them with a makeup refresh! I mean who wants to go to the makeup counter at the department store to learn about makeup in front of the general public?
