As a young man, Faron joined the Army right out of High School and served for 30 years. After retiring from the Army, I returned home to Fannin County and was employed as a Human Resources Director for North Georgia Medical Hospital in Ellijay, Georgia. When the hospital closed, he decided to enjoy retirement and enjoy his farm in Raywick, Kentucky, however retirement didn't last long.
