Founded in 1996, Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington, Vergennes, and Middlebury, is a premiere, dance studio space offering you a wide variety of classes such as: Tap dance, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, HipHop, and Musical Theatre! It's such a joy to bring our studio to the greater Colchester, Milton, Essex, and Burlington, VT areas!
Coming to Spotlight Vermont as a dancer, and performer is such a joy as we treat each person as a unique individual with their own talents, strengths and areas of improvement. We teach the whole person and focus on individual learning within group dance instruction. Our teachers come from a wide range of experience from ballet companies, broadway, and college instructors.

Spotlight Vermont is a thriving dance studio that was established in 1996 by Jen and Tim Barden. When we first started our business, we were only a dance studio that offered tap, jazz and ballet. Today, we are so much more. We offer dance classes for kids through adults in a variety of styles. Our three locations are located in South Burlington, Middlebury, and our newest location in Vergennes.
About the Academy

The Spotlight Theatre Academy (STA) at Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington is an integrated program of study and performance in voice, acting, dance and theater arts for middle and high school age students. We believe every student is unique. It is our job to endow them with the skills, technique, confidence, and resources to launch their creativity into flight.

Fall Session: Spotlight Vermont Vergennes schedule is posted below. These classes run for 14 week sessions at the Vergennes Opera House. If you have any questions, please contact us at any time. Two installments of $102.50 with the first due at registration with the $20 registration fee. If you register for the first session, you will automatically be enrolled in the next session unless you notify Spotlight Vermont.

Join Spotlight Vermont for a Journey into Burlesque class series with Vie Mazur! Vie's Burlesque classes provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to shine. Burlesque is a beautiful way to celebrate all body types, shapes, sizes, and abilities.
